Tour of Ireland
The Events Group developed and organised the new professional Tour of Ireland in 2007. The company worked with the Failté Ireland tourist board to produce a spectacular cycle race that met all the sponsor’s marketing requirements. The race travelled through the main areas of tourism of South and West Ireland, taking in the key towns and cities as well as spectacular and dramatic scenery, showing a flavour of Irish hospitality to the rest of the world. The 900km five-day race finished in grand style in front of the Government Buildings in Dublin city centre.
